Daisy Ethel Thoroughgood was born on the 9th January 1890 in Croydon and was the sixth child of Robert Thoroughgood and Eliza Langridge.
On the 1891 census the family were living at 3 Dalton Court Croydon
King Edward 7th takes the thorne on the 22nd January 1901 on the Death of his mother Queen Victoria.
On the 1901 census the family were living at 62 Medway Road Croydon
Daisy MarriesHenry Chambers on the 15th December 1907 in Croydon
The First of the children Daisy Ethel Chambers was born on the 1st July 1908 in Croydon
King George 5th takes the thorne on the 6th May 1910 on the death of his father King Edward 7th.
The second child Robert Henry Chambers and he was born on 17th October 1910 in Croydon
The third child was Henry Stephen Chambers and he was born 19th April 1912 in Croydon
The fourth child was Bertie and he was born on 16th September 1913 in Croydon
On the 9th October 1914 Henry joins the army to fight during the war
On the 25th December 1915 Henry Stephen dies
The fifth and final child was born Arthur Richard Chambers and he was born on 2nd March 1915
unfortunately Arthur dies on the 15 September 1915
In 1918 men are given the full vote and women given part vote and world war 1 comes to an end.
Henry Leaves the Army after the war on the 4th February 1919
King Edward 8th takes the thorne on the 20th January 1936 on the deatrh of his father King George 5th.
King George 6th takes the thorne on the 11th December 1936 when his father Kind Edward 8th abdicated.

In November 1937 the daughter in law Violet Young dies and Daisy and Henry take on the job of Bringing up the 2 Grandchildren
Queen Elizabeth 2nd takes the thorne on the 6th February 1952 on the death of her father King George 6th.
Daisy dies on the 15th August 1955
Leaving Henry a widower
Henry dies shortly after on the 9th October 1955 in Croydon.
